**Employees can roll existing 401k moneys into Aspen Skiing Company’s plan immediately, but cannot contribute until they have met eligibility requirements.

The 401k is available to full time employees (seasonal or year round) after one year of employment (based on hire date) and a minimum of 300 hours.  Employees can log on to 401k.com and register after they meet this qualification.  Employees can contribute up to 60% of their income up to the IRS limit which for 2018 is $18,500.  To get the maximum benefit from the Company match, employees should contribute no less than 4%.  Based on 4% contribution, there is a 2% match on each paycheck.  At the end of the fiscal year, depending upon how we perform against our NOI, the company could match an additional 2 or 4%.

Requirements for Benefits

Health Insurance:
The employee must be a Year Round Full Time with the Aspen Skiing Company. The employee must have 24 months of service with the Aspen Skiing Company if Seasonal Full Time (summer off seasons do apply if employee is kept active)

Dental Insurance:
Only Year Round Full Time employees and Seasonal Salaried employees are eligible for dental insurance.

401k:
Full Time employees are eligible to participate on the first day of the month after completing one year of service and working over 300 hours. If you are a rehire to ASC, you may have already met this requirement.

75+Rule:
Full time employees in non-management positions with a combined total “years of service” and “age” equal to or greater that 75 can reduce their hours to 30+ hours per pay period and still maintain their full time status.
