Whether you simply want to lose fat, gain muscle or be healthy – or you want to work on a specific sport or combination of goals – MBS can help tailor your workouts to accommodate. Alisa will work with you to find an appropriate training volume, intensity, and frequency, and will select exercises and progressions to get you where you’re going efficiently.
The MBS program hosts various FREE classes for ALL Aspen Skiing Company employees. Be sure to check the events calendar on the MBS website for current offerings. Some of the classes offered throughout the year include, but are not limited too: Ski Conditioning, TRX, Yoga, Pilates, Core & Stretch, Apres Ski Recovery and HIIT.
MBS provides FREE Health Coaching to all ASC employees. Health Coaching helps you look at where you are now and where you’d like to be, and helps you bridge the gap. By raising awareness and encouraging you to take responsibility for your health, Health Coaching can help you rise to your own particular challenge and go further than you ever thought possible!
MBS can create a nutrition plan to your specific goals and body. The nutrition requirements of gaining muscle, improving health, or optimizing athletic performance are all very different, and Alisa can recommend both macro and micronutrient targets accordingly.
Functional Movement Screening
FMS is a ranking and grading system that documents movement patterns that are key to normal function. By screening these patterns, the FMS readily identifies functional limitations and asymmetries. These are issues that can reduce the effects of functional training and physical conditioning and distort body awareness. MBS offers these screenings to all employees as well as corrective exercises to improve FMS scores if needed.
